Shipping:
We ship nationwide with Fedex 2nd Day Air and Fedex Home Delivery. You can order now from our website, or by calling 866-288-CRAB. We will confirm your order and let you know when it is being shipped. Pricing does not include Fedex shipping. Shipping ranges from a set price of $12.95 for Fedex Home Delivery to $20-$37 for Fedex 2nd day Air, depending on your zip and shipping weight. We ship Fedex Home Delivery to the following states: CT, DC, DE, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT and WV. Fedex guarentees 1-2 day delivery to these states, and your shipping costs are cut more than half compared to 2nd day air.
We ship 2nd day air to all the other states not listed above. (We have shipped to all 50 states.)
We ship 2nd Day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. If we have your order before 5pm EST. You may elect to ship overnight, or have a Saturday delivery, extra charges will be incurred with both.

Ordering:
Our Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and our Maryland Style Crab Cakes are made fresh daily in 4 ounce portions. Our Crab Cakes are made with Jumbo Lump, Lump and Back fin Crab meat, and a mixture of spices and saute' vegetables. We have been using this recipe for 48 years. Our Famous She Crab Soup and Lobster Bisque are also made fresh daily. She Crab soup gets its' name from the use of female crab meat which sometimes contained roe (eggs). It is a rich blend of cream, butter, spices and lump crab laced with sherry. Make sure to top the soup with a dollop of whipped cream! Lobster Bisque is also a rich cream based soup made with just the right mixture of seafood stock and spices with chunks of Maine Lobster Meat added. Because of customer's requests, we have added our Aged Western Filet Mignon Steaks to our list of shipped food.
Why Ship?
During the Holidays of 2000 we had many requests to ship our soups and crab cakes. We developed a packing and shipping procedure and had shipped to over 14 states by the end of the year. In 2001, the cable TV channel, "Food Network" came to the Market Inn and filmed for two days for their regular program, "Food Finds". The program first aired on February 18th, 2002. They initially ordered samples of Crab Cakes, She Crab and Lobster Bisque Soups to their headquarters in Los Angeles. Because they were extremely pleased, they decided to include us in their program. Then in the summer of 2006, the Deen Brothers filmed for their new series on the Food Network, "Road Tasted" and the show aired in October. We received over 500 orders in the 2 weeks following the broadcast.
Last year over 100,000 of our guests sampled one or more of these Soups or our Crab Cakes. Now you can order them online for any occasion, or send them to the person who has everything! The Crab Cakes and Soup are actually less expensive per serving shipped when compared to our eat in Restaurant prices.

- We ship as soon as possible after receiving an order, but 2nd Day shipments only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Saturday and next day deliveries are available at an extra charge.
- We cannot ship to a Post Office Box, and please include phone number in delivery address for Fedex.
- You may send a card to be included in a gift order, or we will include a note for you.
- Most orders ship Fedex 2nd day air or Fedex Home Delivery
